Abacus Media Rights (AMR), an Amcomri Entertainment Company, announces the appointment of Anne Corsak as Sales Director for North America.
Anne joins the company from Flame Media, where she held the position of SVP of Content Sales, responsible for North America and Global Digital Strategy for five years. Prior to this, Anne was VP of International Sales, Acquisitions Executive – VOD for New York based independent production and distribution company Janson Media from 2012 to 2017, and from 2004 as VP of Sales and Marketing for production and distribution company Global Telemedia.
AMR Managing Director, Jonathan Ford comments “We are delighted to welcome Anne as Abacus Media Rights’ first in-house Sales Director for North America. As AMR’s portfolio of programming across all genres continues to grow, we need a dedicated in-house executive and it will be invaluable to have Anne on board, not only with her experience across the Flame library of programming but also with her experience and long-standing relationships, working solely for us in this important territory.“
The recent acquisition of Flame Media has increased AMR’s TV library offering to over 4000 hours of programming including Outback Truckers, Outback Opal Hunters, The Moors Murders and Life in Colour with David Attenborough, along with new titles in production which include New Zealand from a Train and Ningaloo with Tim Winton. These complement other successful titles in AMR’s catalogue, such as Sort Of, Vikings: The Rise and Fall, Four Hours At The Capitol, The Missing Children, This Is Joan Collins, Epstein’s Shadow: Ghislaine Maxwell, The Masked Singer and Evolve.
