Amcomri Entertainment Inc. (NEO: AMEN) (FRANKFURT: 25YO) (“Amcomri”), has entered into an exclusive all-rights distribution arrangement with Shout! Factory, LLC (“Shout”) through its United Kingdom-based subsidiary company, 101 Films Limited (“101 Films”).
Shout! Factory will provide 101 Films with more than 120 movies and 40 hours of television content for cross-platform distribution. 101 Films will exclusively sell and distribute this extensive library of sought-after titles from Shout across physical, video on demand, electronic sell through, subscription video on demand (“SVOD”), television, and ad-based video on demand (“AVOD”) platforms in the UK and Ireland.
This transaction follows the acquisition of the Halcyon Studios library for the same territories which was announced earlier this week. Titles in this Shout library include a number of films starring Al Pacino, Pierce Brosnan, Jack Lemmon, Don Johnson, Dustin Hoffman, John Malkovitch, and Laurence Olivier, with filmmakers including David Cronenberg, John Frankenheimer, Jonathan Demme, and Orson Welles.
The wide-ranging library spans multiple genres from cult favourites Alligator and Alligator II: The Mutation, The Lawnmower Man, Lawnmower Man 2: Beyond Cyberspace, and Rock‘n’Roll High School, to the acclaimed Glengarry Glen Ross and the Academy Award®- winning When We Were Kings.
